At 1945 the story, we want to ensure your experience is as seamless as possible. Please review our return and refund guidelines below.

1. Return Eligibility

  • Timeframe: Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have passed since your purchase, we unfortunately cannot offer a refund or exchange.

  • Condition: To be eligible, your item must be unused, in the same condition you received it, and in its original packaging.

  • Proof of Purchase: A receipt or proof of purchase is required to complete your return.

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Perishables: Food, flowers, newspapers, or magazines.

  • Sanitary/Intimate Goods: Health and personal care items.

  • Safety Hazards: Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases.

  • Other: Gift cards and downloadable software.

3. The Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approval: If approved, a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment.

  • Partial Refunds: Partial refunds may be granted for opened media (CDs, DVDs, vinyl), items with missing parts, or items returned more than 30 days after delivery.

  • Sale Items: Only regular-priced items may be refunded; sale items are final sale.

4. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund yet:

  1. Double-check your bank account.

  2. Contact your credit card company (it may take time to post).

  3. Contact your bank (processing times vary).

5. Exchanges & Gifts

  • Exchanges: We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. Email us at Info@1945THESTORY.com to initiate an exchange.

  • Gifts: If the item was marked as a gift, you will receive a gift credit. If not, the refund will be sent to the original purchaser.

  • Costs: You are responsible for your own shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

  • High-Value Items: If shipping an item over $75, we strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.
