OUR COMMITMENT TO ACCURACY
This page exists because accuracy is not optional in our work. It is the foundation of everything we do.
WHAT WE COMMIT TO
Every research finding we deliver is:
• Sourced from a verified archival document
• Reviewed by a human researcher
• Cited with archive name and reference number
• Cross-checked when multiple sources are available
WHAT WE DO NOT DO
• We do not use AI to generate research findings
• We do not present invented or AI-generated images as historical documents
• We do not guess at dates, places, or relationships when records are unclear
• We do not fill gaps in research with speculation
WHEN WE CANNOT FIND SOMETHING
Sometimes the records are gone. Documents were destroyed, transports were unrecorded, communities were erased. When this happens, we tell you. We explain what we searched, what we found, and what the silence likely means.
We would rather deliver fewer verified findings than more unverified ones. In our work, the absence of evidence is itself part of the family story.
WHEN WE FIND SOMETHING DIFFICULT
Our research sometimes uncovers painful truths — a relative who did not survive, a story that contradicts what the family believed, a connection to events that are hard to face.
We share these findings with care, but we share them. Your family deserves the truth, presented with dignity.
OUR USE OF AI TOOLS
We do use AI for specific limited tasks:
• Initial translation drafts (always reviewed by human translator)
• Photo restoration of degraded family images
• Organizational summaries (always fact-checked against source documents)
AI is never used to generate findings, infer relationships, or fill gaps in research.
IF YOU FIND AN ERROR
Despite our care, errors can occur. If you find one in any report we deliver, contact us immediately. We will research the issue, correct the record, and reissue the report at no charge.
Your family's story is too important for shortcuts. That is our commitment.
